The PlasmaDerm® therapy based on "direct cold plasma" will be presented on 06.12.2018 at 11:00 as a lecture with practical application, chaired by apl. med. Georg Daeschlein, Clinic and Polyclinic for Skin Diseases, Greifswald.

For the 20th time the global business services and consultancy company EY (formally known as Ernst & Young) has been awarding the best entrepreneurs in Germany. CINOGY GmbH from Duderstadt is amongst the 35 finalists, who all have been appointed following a multi-step and thorough selection process.

    PlasmaDerm® received Fraunhofer Prize in the Human-Centered Technology category. Plasma makes wounds heal quicker. Skin disorders are a common problem in this part of the world. Atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and chronic venous leg ulcers – typically caused by diabetes or varicose veins – can cause patients years of suffering. Working in collaboration with the company CINOGY and the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at the University Medical Center Göttingen, the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST has successfully developed a new medical technology solution for treating wounds and skin disorders known as “PlasmaDerm®”. Plasma promotes wound healing when it is generated directly on the skin.
